True Tea Company – Spiced Apple Cider Tea🍂

What is better than drinking cider and being able to drive after or no hangover the next day?

Look no further the True Tea Company’s Spiced Apple Cider tea is perfect for both above. This tea is perfect for Christmas time, which is fast approaching, smelling just like mulled cider but without the alcohol.

About This Flavour:

This flavour is very sweet and has a strong apple and cinnamon taste. These tea leaves include cinnamon spice, apple slices, whole star anise and hibiscus creating a spiced winter infusion. This is perfect if you like a fruit tea with a spicy kick from the cinnamon. Another benefit is, unlike drinking alcoholic cider this tea has very little calories and sugar included.

Our Review:

From opening the packet the strong smell of the cinnamon and whole star aniseed fills the room. Compared to other tea leaves this flavour includes larger ingredient pieces providing a very pretty arrangement of ingredients perfect to photograph. After adding a selection of the tea leaves into the teapot, boiling water and brewed for around 5 minutes this created a beautiful deep red, warm colour and smelt delicious!

The flavour of this tea is very sweet fruity taste of apple along with a kick from the cinnamon creating that spicy flavour. Also, the infusion from the whole star anise pieces leaves a slight aniseed aftertaste.

We would definitely recommend this flavour for the Christmas/winter season as it’s an ideal winter warmer for those cold, dark nights with a Christmas aroma.
